"Sean's here?" Elijah panics slightly and holds onto to Orlando.
"Yeah and he's pissed," Dominic nods.
"I'm not going with him, I'm not leaving you, I'm not...," Elijah shakes his head and hugs Orlando.
"You don't have to Blue Eyes," Orlando consoles him while exchanging looks with Dominic.
I have to tell the truth to Lij. I have to tell him what's going on between Sean and me. He deserves the truth, I just hope I don't lose him.
"Come on let's get dressed and see what your uncle wants," Orlando makes himself smile and brushes Elijah's wet hair. "Will you tell Sean we'll be right downstairs Dom?"
Dominic nods and leaves watching Orlando pull Elijah to the bedroom to get dressed. He's never seen Orlando like this, this gentle and caring.
What's taking so long? What have they done? What has Orlando done to Elijah? Sean paces around the pool table nervously, sliding the ball along the table from side to side. Elijah needs to know the truth before things get too serious between him and Orli
"What are you doing here Sean? I'm not coming home," Elijah walks in and looks at his uncle defiantly.
"I'm worried about you," Sean says gently, he's surprised to see Elijah looking so tough. "Are you alright?" He steps closer to Elijah.
"Never better, I'm with someone who really cares about me," Elijah crosses his arms on his chest.
"Are you sure?" Sean asks carefully. "Are you really sure?"
"Why do you keep saying that?" Elijah shouts and walks pass Sean pushing him slightly. "Why can't you be happy for me?"
"I can't, not because I know what's going to happen to you," Sean turns around and looks at Elijah. "I don't want you to end up like..."
"Like who? Why don't you just tell me, stop the innuendos and tell me!" Elijah cries out his frustration.
"Like Craig," Orlando stands by the door and looks at the two men. "He's afraid the same thing that happened to Craig is going to happen to you."
Elijah and Sean both look at Orlando. He looks sad and beaten. He leans against the doorframe and looks at Elijah first then Sean.
"I will tell him Sean, I'll tell him everything," Orlando sighs. "Elijah deserves the truth and so do you. What I feel for Elijah is totally different what I felt for Craig. I was awful back then, what I did was wrong and I know it now. I won't do it again, not to Elijah."
Sean sits down on the couch and lets Orland walk pasts him to Elijah. He's still scared for Elijah, but he will listen to what Orlando has to say. Orlando pulls Elijah to another couch and sits in front of him on the coffee table.
"Don't interrupt me Sean, please let me tell Elijah everything," he looks at Sean over his shoulder and see him nod.
Orlando takes a deep breath and holds Elijah's hands tightly. I hope I don't lose him, I hope he forgives me.
"It all happened before Viggo was here," Orlando starts. "I was good friends with Sean and we spent lots of time together and with Billy and Dom. We were friends, good friends," he smiles and glances at Sean; Orlando misses their friendship. "Then Craig moved in here, he was Miranda's old college friend and Miranda hired him at the bar. Sean rented him the room where you are staying. They got along great Craig and Sean. Craig was great; he was handsome, funny, great to be around, generally a really good guy. Sean and Craig immediately hit it off; they were great together, great friends. They clearly liked each other and they were getting closer and closer. I knew Sean was falling for Craig and I guess Craig loved Sean too. They just never got around to telling each other that," Orlando sighs and his voice cracks.
Orlando glances at Sean again. He's so sorry what he did, he wishes he could take it back. He wishes he could change the past.
"I was a different back then, a real asshole. I was at it almost every night; I couldn't get enough of sex. I was a real fucker, I mean that literally. I had sex a lot; I wasn't looking for anyone special. But Sean was and he liked Craig, well he loved Craig," Orlando takes another deep breath.
He can see Elijah stiffen on the couch, he can feel it. Elijah leans back, pulls away from Orlando.
"It was one drunken night, one night and I ruined everything," Orlando whispers, he feels tears in his eyes. "I wish I could take it back. We were both drunk. Being drunk is no excuse, I knew what I was doing, I seduced him, it was all me," Orlando squeezes Elijah's hands and looks down at them feeling the first tear fall on his cheek. "I was Craig's first lover, I didn't know that. He told me afterwards and everything changed. He was a one time thing for me, back then everyone was that to me. But that night meant more for him, he thought it was love," Orlando takes a big breath. "That's when all hell broke loose. Sean found out what happened and you can imagine how angry he was. We had a huge fight; I knew Sean would never forgive me so I tried to fix things up. I wanted Sean and Craig together; I tried to match Craig with Sean. But it was too late, Craig was so determined, he only wanted me. Finally I made out with another guy in front of Craig so he would go to Sean. But I only made things worse, that broke Craig's heart, I broke his heart," Orlando shakes his head slowly and looks up at Elijah. "I was an asshole back then. What I did was wrong, it was awful and I hurt people around me. I don't ever want to do that again, never, not to anyone, not to you Elijah and not to you Sean," he turns around and looks at Sean, who like him, has tears in his eyes. "I'm so sorry Sean, I never meant to hurt you, I just didn't think..."
Sean wipes his eyes and nods slightly. He can see Orlando regrets his actions. Sean still has doubts, but he's sure Orlando is sorry.
"But I'm thinking now Elijah," Orlando turns back to Elijah. "I'm thinking of you all the time. You're all I think about, your blue eyes, your smile, everything about you. I haven't had any sex since Craig, I couldn't, I didn't want to, not until you showed up. You changed me, what happened with Craig changed me, but you did too. You're all I want Blue Eyes," Orlando smiles a bit and wipes his eyes.
Elijah just looks at him, he feels numb. He wants to cry but instead he takes a deep breath. He hardly breathed when Orlando was talking. He doesn't know what to believe. All he thought about Orlando is gone, all he can think about is Orlando breaking people's hearts. Elijah had his heart broken once; he doesn't want it again. He feels Orlando's hands on his hands and pulls back.
"I need to think," Elijah finally says and moves away from Orlando.
"That's alright," Orlando smiles slightly. "I understand, this is a lot to digest," he tried to sound secure, but his insides are shaking in fear of losing Elijah. "I'll wait."
Elijah stands up; he's lost for words and thoughts. He shifts nervously until he walks away from Orlando. He stops beside Sean.
"I'm ready to go home...I need to think," he glances at Orlando who has his back turned at them. "I'll see...I mean...you know...maybe...I don't know," he holds back the tears and walks out of the room
"I'll be there soon," Sean shouts after him, and stands up. "You did the right thing Orli," Sean walks over to Orlando. "You did good," he squeezes Orlando's shoulder. "It took a lot of guts, I'm glad you did it."
"He's never going to forgive me," Orlando whispers. "I don't blame him, I wish I could change everything."
"He will forgive you, I did," Sean whispers and leans down to kiss the top of Orlando's head. "I forgive you Orli."
Orlando looks up and quickly he's standing and hugging Sean. Their embrace is tight and caring. Orlando trembles and lets it all out. He cries against Sean's shoulder, holding the older man as tightly as he can.
"I'm so sorry Sean," Orlando pants and hugs Sean.
"It's all right, everything will work out, I promise you," Sean whispers and kisses the side of Orlando's head.
Both men are so engaged in the embrace they don't see Elijah watching them by the door. Elijah leaves them in peace and walks away wiping the lonely tear falling down on his cheek.
