Feedback: It would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
Summary: Billy is in L.A. to attend ComicCon with Dominic and Elijah. Orlando feels as if it might be time to act on the feelings that he’s had for so long.
Disclaimer: I do not own or know Orlando Bloom, Billy Boyd, Dominic Monaghan, Elijah Wood, or any other real life person mentioned in this story. This story is completely fiction, and any events in this story, which mirror those in real life, are purely coincidental. Author’s Note: I know that at the time of ComicCon, Orlando was probably still in Australia filming Ned Kelly, but for the sake of writing and not making my head explode with information, let’s just say that he was in Los Angeles.

The Moment
+ + + + + + + + + + + + + + +
Orlando had no idea why he was so fidgety. He honestly couldn’t remember the last time that he had cared about what he wore so much, or how he smelled, or anything involving what someone would think of him. He normally didn’t care, but tonight for some reason was different. Elijah had called him earlier, which wasn’t out of the ordinary, seeing as how ever since Orlando arrived in L.A., his younger friend constantly harassed him with phone calls, text messages and instant messages on his computer. Orlando wondered why he had gotten the thing, all he used it for was to lurk around fan message boards, look at porn and receive messages from Elijah. And besides, he hated technology. The stupid thing was always crashing.
But the phone call he had received earlier was unlike the others for some reason. Dominic was attending ComicCon, and the organizers had thought that maybe it would be a great idea if the rest of the hobbits would surprisingly show up. Elijah was up for it, and Sean would have been, but because of Chris’ due date being so close, he didn’t want to risk it.
“What about Billy?” Orlando had asked over the phone.
“Oh! Bill-eh!” Elijah said, letting out a small laugh. “Yeah, he’s coming up from Mexico to attend. Says he could stand to spend a few days here.”
Orlando almost dropped the phone, but decided against it. He simply swallowed hard. “Billy’s going to be here?”
“Yeah!” Elijah replied. “Isn’t it great?”
Orlando smiled. “Yeah. It’s great.”
“So anyway, we’re all getting together after the convention, maybe go clubbing or something equally alcohol inducing. You wanna join us?”
He felt his heart leap in his chest, and fought back the urge to jump up and down and squeal with pleasure. “I’d love to,” Orlando replied, his index finger becoming tangled in the phone cord. “It’s been too long since all four of us have gone out.”
What Orlando had really wanted to say was; “It’s been too long since I’ve seen Billy.”
“Great!” Elijah said. Orlando could almost see him jumping with joy. “I’ll let Billy know! See you tonight?”
“Yeah, sure,” Orlando replied, realizing now that his finger was caught.
“I’ll call you after we get out of the convention, okay?”
“Yeah,” Orlando said again, a smile dancing across his lips.
“Later, Bloom!”
And Elijah hung up. Orlando didn’t hang up until a minute later, when he actually managed to untangle his finger from the phone cord. But now, his thoughts turned to Billy, and what to wear, how to smell, and everything else involved with making an impression on one of your close friends whom you secretly had a crush on.

Orlando was still getting dressed when he heard a knock at the door. He groaned, rolling his eyes as he slipped a t-shirt over his head. Elijah said that he would call, but did he? Of course not. As Orlando pulled the t-shirt over his body, he made his way downstairs and opened the door, and was greeted by three smiling faces.
“I thought you said you were going to call,” Orlando said, smiling at Elijah as he stepped out of the way so that they could wait for him inside.
“Lost my mobile,” Elijah said, a smirk on his lips, and at that instant Orlando knew that he was lying.
“Well, I’ll be just a minute. If you get tired of standing, there’s couches and chairs for your lazy asses,” Orlando said, heading back upstairs.
“Such kind endearments,” Billy said, smiling and eyeing the furniture.
Orlando tried not to stare, but it was impossible. Billy looked more breath taking than usual. His hair had grown out, shaggy and curls appearing at the ends. His skin was tanned, a drastic change from his usually fair skin. He was probably the most casual of all the hobbits. A black, button down shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows and a few buttons undone to reveal a bit of that delicious chest, blue jeans and thong flip flop sandals. Orlando had to look away.
He rushed upstairs and finished getting ready, slipping all of his jewellery on and deciding to go “au naturalle” instead of putting on any cologne. He slipped some shoes on and made his way back downstairs to see Dominic and Elijah sitting on the couch, engaged in a game on his Playstation.
“Oh, I see how it is,” Orlando remarked. “You blokes only love me for my Playstation!”
Dominic turned around, smiling. “Why else would we?” He laughed and stood up, taking the controller from Elijah and turning off the game and television. “C’mon. Let’s get out of here before Orlando starts whining about lack of dancing.”
They all shared a laugh, then made their way out to Elijah’s car, which was parked in a very awkward fashion in Orlando’s driveway. Elijah climbed into the driver’s seat, while Dominic took the passenger side, leaving Billy and Orlando in the back.
“Are we getting a cab home?” Billy asked. “Seeing as how we’re probably all going to be drinking.”
“Yeah,” Elijah replied, starting the engine. “Something like that. I’ll go and pick up the car tomorrow morning.”
“If you’re alive tomorrow morning,” Dominic said. “You know how bad your hangovers are.”
Elijah scoffed. “They wouldn’t be so bad if you weren’t so loud in the mornings.”
Orlando and Billy had to share a quick and secret smile. Elijah and Dominic were so much like an old married couple sometimes. What made that fact even better was that they were actually dating, and had been for about a year now.
“So, any place in particular in mind?” Dominic asked as the car began moving.
“Some place not too loud,” Billy replied, sticking his finger in his ear. “My ears still hurt from all that screaming.”
After about half an hour of driving, they all decided on a club with relatively loud music, despite Billy’s earlier comment. He had seemed to change his mind since then anyway. The club on the inside was alive with bright lights and techno music, the bass making the floor tremble. The four of them scanned the club for a booth, and Elijah found one, making a mad dash for it before anyone else could take it. The other three followed him and squished into the booth. Naturally, by fate, Orlando was squished next to Billy.
“All right,” Orlando said, “now who’s getting up to get us drinks?”
Everyone groaned and then finally pushed Billy out of the booth, since he was the closest to the floor. Orlando watched him go with a smile on his face.
“Tonight?” Dominic asked.
Orlando whirled his head around, looking at Dominic who had his arm draped over Elijah, who was smiling.
“Tonight, what?” Orlando asked.
“Are you going to make your move on Billy tonight?” Dominic asked, and Elijah smiled more.
“Billy?” Orlando asked, trying to sound dumb. “I – I don’t like Billy like that. He’s my mate!”
“Oh, come off it!” Elijah said. “Everyone but Billy knows! The way you’re always looking at him is a dead giveaway. You’ve got it for Billy.”
Orlando sighed. “Maybe I do, but - ”
“Drinks have arrived!” Billy said, placing four glasses and a pitcher of beer down on the table.
Orlando gave a quick glance to Elijah as he reached for the glass, and the young man mouthed; “Do it.” Orlando swallowed over the lump in his throat and poured himself a glass of beer.
“So,” Orlando began, “how was ComicCon?”
“Dom’s a virgin,” Elijah laughed, and Dominic tried to keep from choking on his beer.
“Yeah, I was,” he said. “But it was great and really interesting. I’d do it again.”
“So Orlando here is the only one who’s a virgin now,” Billy said with a smirk.
And it was Orlando’s turn to try and not choke on his beer. “Yup. That’s me. The virgin.”
“I’m so calling you that from now on,” Elijah said, taking a swig of his beer. “Orlando – The Virgin.”
They all laughed, and Orlando listened to Billy’s laugh above all else. God, what a beautiful laugh. Orlando thought about what Dominic and Elijah said. Maybe tonight should be the night; he had waited long enough, to the point where he almost couldn’t take it anymore. The club was packed with people, mostly bumping and grinding on the dance floor. Dominic looked over at Elijah and saw the glint in his eyes.
“We’re leaving you two,” Dominic said. “Alone. With beer. Made God have mercy on us all.”
Dominic stood up, grabbing Elijah’s hand and pulling him onto the dance floor. Elijah looked back at Orlando and winked, and then grabbed Dominic, practically clinging to him.
“What was that all about?” Billy asked.
Orlando shrugged. “I have no idea.” He turned and looked to Billy, smiling. “So, what’s been going on with you?”
“Oh, not a whole lot,” Billy replied, looking into is glass of beer. “Been filming with Russell Crowe. Nice chap.”
“Yeah?” Orlando asked, leaning back.
“Yeah.”
And then there was silence. Orlando had forgotten about that. Whenever he was alone with Billy there would always be an awkward silence and it was always, well, awkward. They both looked out onto the dance floor to see Elijah and Dominic dancing, and the way they were moving left nothing to the imagination.
“They’d probably have sex out there if they could,” Billy said.
Orlando laughed. “They have before.”
Billy coughed, choking a little on his beer. He wiped his mouth with the back of his hand and looked at Orlando with wide eyes. “Are you serious?”
Orlando nodded. “Yup. They were lucky they didn’t get kicked out.” He looked out onto the dance floor. “Elijah had his legs wrapped around Dom’s waist, and he was fucking the living daylights out of him. They were screaming and moaning and all that shit.”
“Did they get caught?”
Orlando smiled. “Nope. But they sure as hell gave everyone a good show.”
Billy looked out onto the dance floor, and smiled. “They could get away with anything.” He then looked at Orlando. “And so could you.”
“Me?” Orlando asked, arching an eyebrow.
Billy nodded. “You could charm your way out of anything. Probably into anything too.”
“Like your bed,” Orlando wanted to say, but didn’t. Instead, he said; “Sometimes.”
The other man looked over at him. “You feel like dancing?”
Orlando smirked a little, but tried to hide it. “I dance worse than those two,” he said simply.
“That might be a good thing,” Billy said, laughing a little. He stood up and grabbed Orlando’s hand. “C’mon.”
Orlando’s body trembled as Billy took his hand and pulled him out onto the dance floor, he hoped that he hadn’t noticed. Billy found a spot that suited him and pulled Orlando close to his body. Orlando thought he would die, but that was before Billy started pressing and swaying his hips against him. Now Orlando knew he was going to die. Billy kept moving, but Orlando stood stark still, not knowing what to do.
“Dance, Orli!” Billy said, moving his body. “I’ve seen you dance before, don’t stand in fear on account of me sucking.”
And Orlando then thought that there were some words Billy should just not say. Sucking being one of them, it leads to dirty thoughts. He finally managed to begin moving, slowly at first, getting used to dancing with Billy, he had never actually danced with him before. Then he got more comfortable, and the gap between them was soon closed. They were actually beginning to touch each other, and it made Orlando shiver. Billy put his arm around Orlando’s waist and pulled him flush against his body. Orlando bit his bottom lip and looked at Billy, who smirked at him and then began rolling his hips. He moaned, and he knew Billy heard it. Billy just looked at him a moment, confused, and then it apparently clued in. He smiled and pressed his whole body against Orlando’s and continued moving his hips.
“Billy,” Orlando began, wrapping his arms around the smaller man, “there’s something that I should probably tell you.”
“You want me.”
Orlando looked at Billy with wide eyes. “How’d you - ”
“Elijah told me this morning,” Billy said. “And you want to know something? I was so fuckin’ happy.”
“Why?” Orlando asked, still grinding against him.
Billy got closer to Orlando, if that was at all possible and whispered; “I’ve wanted you for so long.”
Orlando’s breath hitched in his throat, and next thing he knew, Billy was kissing him. Slow, sweet kisses, the kind that make you crumble. Orlando felt his lips melt into the kiss, and he clutched Billy tightly, their hips still moving. Orlando moaned, his growing erection straining against his jeans, but the friction of the denim against his cock made him tremble.
“Do you want to leave?” Billy panted, pulling away from Orlando’s lips.
“Only if you want to.”
“I do.”
+ + +
Orlando was in the bathroom, supporting himself on the counter, knuckles clutching it so tightly that they were turning white. He splashed some more water on his face, and then looked at his reflection in the mirror. He couldn’t remember the last time he felt so nervous. Pulling back from the counter, he walked over to the door, and opened it just a crack, looking into his bedroom. There was Billy. On his bed. Under the covers. Naked.
Orlando swallowed hard and closed the door again. He leaned up against it, and then began looking for his pants, which were on the floor somewhere. He located them and then began searching through the pockets until he found his cell phone. He began dialling as fast as he could, but even when the phone was answered, he knew calling was a bad idea.
Laboured breathing.
Panting.
Soft moans.
The words; “Hold on. Wait. Phone.”
And then; “Hello?”
“Lij … it’s Orli.”
“Jesus, fuck, Orli! What do you want?”
Orlando cringed. “I – I’m with Billy … ”
“Then why are you calling me?”
“Well, I don’t want to fuck this up. I’m in the loo right now, he’s in my bed waiting and … God, Lij.”
Elijah sighed. “Look, Orlando, just go with whatever feels right, okay? You can’t go wrong with that.”
Orlando sighed. “Right.”
“Its just Billy.”
Just Billy. How not true.
Orlando cut the connection then set his phone down on the counter. He took a deep breath, looking up at the ceiling, then turned around and opened the door. Billy looked over at him. Orlando felt as if he would collapse. Those green eyes were just looking at him, waiting and wanting.
“Come over here,” Billy whispered, coaxing Orlando over with his index finger.
Orlando slowly walked over to his bed then got onto it, crawling on all fours toward Billy, who was simply watching him. He moved his body over Billy’s, which was still under the covers and looked into his eyes. Billy licked his lips and moved his head up, kissing Orlando slowly, his tongue gently tracing the outline of Orlando’s mouth. This was it. This was the moment that Orlando had been waiting for. He weaved his body around so that he was under the covers with Billy, and pulled the smaller man into his arms, kissing him wildly, the sensation of skin on skin driving him insane. He rolled his hips against Billy’s over and over, both of them making small sounds. Orlando moved his fingers across Billy’s chest, and the older man gasped, clutching the sheets tightly as his bedmate’s free hand moved around his cock. Orlando’s own erection pushed against Billy’s thigh, and he began moving his hand from root to tip slowly. Billy cried out, his eyes shut tight.
“Oh, Dominic!”
Orlando’s eyes flew open. He went soft. The moment had been ruined.
