-because the RSF *isn't* just about sex. Really. Think "Bean's Knees" by Val, "Experimental" by Brenda, "When We Are Human" by Lobelia
Most Realistic "Orlandish" Orgasmic Scene
-Yes, Lobelia, a category just for you, where recovery time is glossed over. *grins* Seriously, what *is* Orlandishly orgasmic? Think "Lessons 4: The Last Time" by Brenda, "No Vows That Can't Come True" by Jenwyn, "On Location" by Val.
Most Creative Use of Lube
-Does NOT have to be used for actual penetration.
-The RSF is also known for weird lube...think marmite, cookie dough, fingerpaints, milk, icing, etc. Use your imagination. Go wild.

-Yes, the big one. What *is* the RSF rating? Simple...when NC-17 just won't work. When the fic is sometimes *more*. The 3 components neccessary in the RSF rating are
Ingenuity plus smut plus passion. It's not porn. It's just *beyond* NC-17.
Think "Sabotage" by UKCalico, "Desert In The Parlor" by Nancy, "Elendil" by Val, "Blindsided" by Brenda.
The Prizes
Still working on it, but a variety of LOTR-related goodies has been compiled & we're anxious to give it away. And, of course, each winner gets a lovely banner. And gets archived on the contest site (which is still under construction).

2. Fics that have not been beta'd for grammar/spelling won't be considered.
3. Enter your fic in as many categories as you like.
4. No works in progress.
5. No deathfics. Because they make Val cry. Or angry. Something. So no autoerotic asphyxiation fics where Lij
offs himself just to get a bigger bang.
6. Fics must be received in our clearinghouse mailbox by no later than 12 midnight, PST October 1st, 2002.
7. Please send all fics to rsfcontest@hotmail.com. Include all headers, warnings, spoilers, categories entered, everything. Please put RSF contest in the subject.
