Miranda nervously twirled her spoon in the already cold cup of coffee. The clinking sound of the metal on glass ringing in her ears as she thinks about tonight. And seeing him again.

"...And then we went to Louis Vuitton and I bought a new purse and then .... Mirry? You okay hon? You haven't said a word ..." Liv's voice chimed in, interrupting Miranda's train of thought.

"Hmmm, sorry Liv, I must have blanked out a moment. Keep talking. New purse you said?" Miranda tried to get back into the conversation, needing a distraction from her own thoughts right now.

"Mir, you can't hide things from me. Something is on your mind. Now spill!" Liv cocked her eyebrow as she dipped her biscotti into her latte.

"It's nothing really ... I was just thinking about someone."

"Billy again? Miranda, I know you care about him, but he and Elijah are happy. You have to get over him sometime, love."

"No, it's not Billy. It's .... well ...." Miranda struggled as to whether she should just open up. Maybe it would be easier if someone else knew. If she could talk about it. "It's Dom. I just can't stop thinking about him lately. I know it's insane. I mean, just a month ago I thought I was madly in love with his best friend. But now .... it's different."

"Dom? As in Monaghan? Really? When did this happen? That's wonderful!" Liv bubbled as she reached across the table, excitedly grabbing Mirry's hand and clapping it.

"I don't know. Just suddenly he popped into my head, and for the life of me I can't get him out. And he's coming tonight. And I'm ... well, I'm nervous. I mean, what should I do? Last time I saw him I could barely utter a word to him, I was so scared. He's going to think I hate him!" Miranda lifted the cup of coffee to her lips, taking a sip before recoiling disgusted at the barely lukewarm coffee in her mouth. She choked it down difficultly, as the lump in her throat seemed to restrict her from drinking anything.

"Well, maybe you should talk to him about it? Who knows, he might feel the same way!" Liv couldn't help but giggle at Miranda's face, offering her a sip of her own hot beverage.

"Oh god Liv, what would I say? 'Hi Dom, I thought I was in love with Billy but now I want to date you, and no I'm not insane!' ... what would he think of me?" she shook her head as she trailed her finger through the loose sugar on the table.

"Well, you won't know until you try, will you? And I hope to god you wouldn't say something like that to him. You're not that silly ... though you are quite insane!"

"Will you help me Liv? With everything? Help me plan what to say?" Miranda felt like a teenager, asking her first boy on a date. She couldn't believe she was so nervous about this. About Dom.

"Can I pick out your outfit too?" Liv giggled, feeling excited at the prospect of helping Miranda out with this. "Oooh, I know! Lets go SHOPPING!" Liv bounced out of her chair, grabbing Miranda by the hand and pulling her up. "My treat!"

Miranda hesitantly followed, but smiled, feeling thankful to have a friend like Liv right now.

Oops, didn't realize this was right above the last one. I'll have to look for the next one now! It was lovely to see the women side of the Rings cast, even if there are fewer of them.
