Fic: A Perfect Understanding (PG-13)

Bonus! Written in no time flat today.

A/N: I personally would always pass on a story headed as SB/VM, so instead let me say this is a story about four hobbits and an elf discussing SB/VM. Also contains allusions of various degrees to OB/EW, OB/VM, OB/SB, OB/DM, DM/VM, DM/EW, DM/BB, and everyone/SB/VM. Is most definitely NOT taking place in the "See Under: Clue, Getting A" universe.

Rating: PG-13 for themes and gratuitous use of the F word, over and over and over ...

Summary: "Oh God, Sean, yes, yes, do it like that," Orli wails, the back of one hand pressed dramatically against his forehead.

A Perfect Understanding

okay, see, here's the thing, kid. that's really kind of offensive. did you not see how maybe, by leaving off the first bit of that sentence, you might not alienate a bunch of people who might want to read something involving Sean and Viggo?

instead you're saying, 'hey, there's nothing good about a story that's S/V, but don't worry! I'm making FUN of S/V and I'll be sure to embrace and run with every! last! fanon! cliche! that I can get my hands on.'

mmmm... happy glow that the word "offensive" still exists among a bunch of people who write stories about people they don't know buttfucking each other, frequently with duress. myself included, mind.

Why is it any worse than saying "I personally frickin' hate chocolate ice cream; this is really more vanilla with a chocolate swirl"?

Anyway, I'm sure no offense was intended.

*goes to other room to check*

Nope. No offense intended.

going out of one's way to put down other people's preferences is offensive to me. it hasn't anything to do with the content of the fandom.

why is it putting down other people's preferences to say "I don't like Pairing X; this isn't a Pairing X, more a bunch of people talking about Pairing X"?

Actually, compared to the others, I think Sean and Viggo came off pretty well in that story. It's Orli and Dom who should sue.
