Rating: NC-17 over all, this chapter PG-13
Categories: LotRPS (Viggo/Bean)
Archive: please ask first

Summary: After Orlando leaves, Sean and Viggo talk the whole thing through.
Disclaimers: Not RL; didn't happen. If you think this has anything to do with the real actors involved, then you need to put down the crack pipe.
Notes: Sorry about the no sex thing, but we're all about believable refractory times, if nothing else.

The rest of the series is here

Sean remains curled up under the blanket while Viggo talks to Orlando for a little while and then shows him out. He's vaguely aware of their voices and then the door shutting, but mostly he's content to remain in a half doze, safe and warm and comfortable..

Taking a slow breath, Viggo goes back to Sean. He crouches and passes a hand down Sean's arm, murmuring, "Come on, boy. Come to bed." He nudges and encourages Sean up and then to the bed, covering him up again and stripping down to climb in beside him.

"How do you feel?" he asks quietly, passing a hand down the side of Sean's face.

The process of going to bed, and the fact that he's even allowed on the furniture, goes a long way to bringing Sean up out of the strange headspace he occupies as Viggo's puppy. "Good," he finally says after a moment. "Quite good," he elaborates, leaning into Viggo's touch.

Viggo nods. "You went pretty far this time. Deep." He combs his fingers through Sean's hair several times in slow, rhythmic strokes. "Did it feel right while you were there?"

"It always feels right when I'm there," Sean says, after a moment to collect his thoughts. "The better question is 'does it feel right now,' and the answer to that is yes." He looks at Viggo seriously. I'd have not done it if I didn't trust you, but I did and I was right to do so."

"I'm glad it wasn't too much," Viggo smiles. "And Orli? How will you feel looking at him tomorrow? He's got an entirely different view of you now, I bet."

"If he'd acted like he thought it was weird or wrong, I'd have a hard time with him in the morning," Sean says. "But he was right there with us, so it's alright." He pauses and then, looking a little worried. "It felt good to have him there."

"Did it?" The words don't quite come out as a question; Viggo's thinking about that, now. "I think after the initial surprise wore off--and not because it was you, but, you know, I don't think Orli's ever seen this before. But I think after a while, he got into it because you're so natural."

Sean never knows what to say to something like that and so he just shrugs a little. "I dunno why it works for me," he finally says. "I just go with what feels right at the time." He's never figured it out, never really understood where the part of him that likes being a human puppy dog comes from. All he knows is that, since the first time he found that space in his head, it's been a part of him.

Viggo nods again, going quiet for a moment. He remembers that first burst of triumphant lust at seeing Sean go there for him, and he doesn't want to take that for granted. But now the idea of including Orlando--who fit so well, so perfectly well into it--that's enticing.

"How would you feel," Viggo says at length, "about getting Orli in on it a little more?" He pauses again, not a hesitation, but just a moment to get his phrasing right. "Maybe getting him down there with you, if he'll go?"

"Do you think he will?" Sean asks, not sure if Orli's got the patience for it. "I know Ian calls him a puppy, but do you think he'd want to actually be one?"

"I'm not concerned yet," Viggo points out gently, "how he'll feel about it. I'm asking how you will."

"Do you want him like that?" Sean asks. Realizing he sounds like he's stalling, he smiles. "I don't mind; it could be kind of interesting. I've never really been around another puppy like that."

"I don't know if I want him like that," Viggo says honestly. "I won't know until--if--I've had him like that. I might just want to watch." He turns onto his side fully and looks at Sean. "How would you feel about getting fucked by another puppy?"

Swallowing hard, Sean stares at Viggo. "I'd ... I'd ... God, that would be something." He's more than a little speechless and he stares at Viggo hopefully.

"We'll see," Viggo chuckles. "It all depends on Orlando. Maybe I'll let my jealous alpha boy fuck another puppy."

"Do you have another puppy around here?" Sean asks with a smile. "I'm not jealous, you know."

"Mmm." Viggo leans over and kisses Sean slowly. "Good. I thought I saw some of that; I'm glad I misunderstood."

"Protective," Sean says with a smile. "I'll growl at anyone I think is likely to hurt you. But not jealous. I'd like to see you fucking Orli."

"Even if Orli's being a puppy while I do it?"

Although he wants to just say it'd be alright, Sean pauses and thinks it through. "Could you do it after you let me fuck him?" he finally says. It's hard, trying to be here and talk at the same time that he's trying to figure out how Sean-the-puppy would feel.

"If it came around to that, and if that's how you'd feel best about it, then yes." Viggo drapes one arm around Sean's waist and tugs himself closer with the hold. "I'm still learning this with you. I don't want to screw it up."

"Me too," Sean says, leaning into Viggo's embrace. "It's ...well I've never been with anyone who thought this through like you do."

"It wants thinking through," Viggo smiles. "And I like thinking about it. I like turning it over. I think I want to paint you like that and see what comes out."

"You do?" Sean asks, surprised. "I think I'd like that," he adds after thinking it over for a moment. "I ... I did this sketch once. Kind of odd, but it's how I think of myself."

"Oh yeah?" Viggo tips his head up into his hand, watching Sean. "I'd very much like to see that."

Sean's always felt a little odd about talking about his sketches with Viggo. He knows himself for a competent draftsman; his work is good, solid and very representational. But Viggo is an artist, and more than anything, Sean finds that intimidating.

"It's okay," Viggo murmurs, leaning closer and resting his head on Sean's shoulder, turning to kiss it. "It's so personal. I understand."

"No," Sean says. "I'd like to show you. Actually. I'll have to do another one, because the first one's back home."

"You could recreate it?" Viggo asks, surprised at the idea. His own work is so scattered and random that the idea of reproducing something gives him headaches. "You would recreate it? Just so I could see it?"

"It's just a sketch," Sean replies. "Might be a little different, but why not?"

"If you sketch it for me," Viggo nods slowly, thinking about the process this would involve, "I'll paint using that and you as bases. Sort of a composite." He nods again. "I think I can do that."

For a moment all Sean can do is stare at Viggo and then -- and he really can't help it -- he laughs. When Viggo looks at him curiously, he holds up a hand. "Not making fun of you, mate. Just ... I came here to make a movie, and look at what's happening."

Viggo's curious look stays put. "Then this is what was supposed to happen," he says, utterly unbothered by the idea that anything's off-course in the slightest.

It's such a Viggoesque -- Viggo-like? -- remark that Sean just smiles. "I like that way of thinking, even if I've never been able to master it myself."

"I can teach you," Viggo says quite seriously. "It's very calming. But--I suppose when you're in a puppy frame of mind, you're already there. Maybe further along than I am."

"Never thought of it that way," Sean says, suddenly filled with a great affection for Viggo. "Zen and the art of being a puppy, yeah?"

It's almost as though Viggo feels the affection, and suddenly is mirroring it himself. His eyes actually grow damp, and he smiles, then laughs softly. "Yeah. Zen and the art of being a puppy." He pulls Sean tight to him and kisses him.
