I wrote this at work today while everyone was at lunch.
The wedding fic was so fluffy that I needed to write a bit of angst for balance *lol*
It's short.

When you've wanted something long enough, it sometimes changes shape...
Will you take me as I am,
Strung out on another man?1
After loving Dom for so long, being torn to so many pieces watching him hurt, Elijah forgot what he had wanted in the first place. He abandoned dreams of 'only you' and began to long for any piece of Dom he could get. Broken or whole - he'd take it all.
Dom had cried so long over Billy that he was dried out. Squeezed free of all the passion and tears he used to hold inside and hope with.
It was late on a Thursday night. They'd spent the afternoon in the ocean, the evening drinking, then all gone to their own trailers to sleep. Or to lie awake.
At 2am Elijah found Dom at his door,
"You want me."
"Yes."
"And I want someone to be with tonight. I can't be alone any more, I'll go mad."
"You'd better come in, then."
They lay close as the sky paled to grey, together alone.
Dom rubbed his eyes red and buried his face in Elijah's neck.
"It hurts," he whispered.
"I know."
