Summary: Yorkshire. 1928. At least, Monaghan reflected in those silent moments of platitude, being at this school meant that he was not subjected to the ignominy of wearing short trousers.

Author's Notes: This has been preying on my mind for a while, as two fics, but then now they are going to be melded into one, so it's going to be a bit of an extended historical AU. Again. Oh no. We have schoolboys, and later there will be uniforms and guns, and so I think I've covered most of your kinks...And the use of the word fag in this is strictly confined to the British boarding school sense.
