That's good, Lij. I see sorrow, shame, despair, and the last shreds of arrogance in those eyes. Exhaustion, determination, hope, love. All there.

"Take my hand!"

Good, subtle head shake. Scares me, Sean, here on set. Would have to drive Sam to the last place from which his anger can generate the strength to save you. And God knows, I've been angry enough with YOU, too from fear for your safety, health, career.

"Don't let go."

I've gritted my teeth, furrowed my brow, steeled my gaze: given you what-for in no uncertain terms-and you heard me. You came back with me, from the edge, from dark places, where I couldn't follow, and couldn't leave you.

"Don't you let go!"

You've taken everything I gave you, and become my friend. Risked all, and stayed the course. Grab that now!
