Wanderlust: Part 4/? Tattoo's

Title: Wanderlust: Chapter 4/? Tattoo's
Author: Fairyspell
Summary: A series of drabbles focusing on VM/OB body parts
Pairing: VM/OB, Moon/Sun
Rating: NC-17, no warnings
Archive: Viggorously, Carefully Kissed, Fellow Shippers, Vigorlean Cult
A/N: This was a difficult piece for me to write, it strays from my prefered writing of VM/OB in their happily ever after lifestyle. As much as I tried to write it in that genre, it looked and felt forced and I wasn't proud of it. I gave in finally to the pull of my muse and wrote it in the setting of their very hectic schedules allowing for a very brief reunion. I give huge credit to the influences of Milton and Tennyson for guiding me through the lunar/solar duality. I hope you enjoy the new manip for this chapter!
Dedication: Written for [livejournal.com profile] nitw1t because she makes me choke and she suggested the bodypart,[livejournal.com profile] ancabell for her endless smiles, intoxicating talent and CanoScan help.

Tattoo's

Past imbuing foretold their destinies and melded them together in an unremitting perpetual twilight.
The suns approach was signaled by soft mocha spirals sweeping across the night sky, teasingly brushing over the anchored eleventh hour and fallen stars. A warm red tongue snaking dew at the edge of Viggo's torso kissed the inlayed cosmos with a seemingly endless splash of the sun's rising color. "Missed you so much...," the darkling's words flowed out in a soft benediction to the sweet incandescent radiance of dawn's light overtaking the half-moon. "So...so much...,"

The ardent glow traced his crescent with thin burning beams as the splendor of day flared and broke inside of him. "Ssh...I'm here now...," Lightless space opened for the impending consummate eclipse. The first blushes of morning were risen in an ancient irrepressible rencountering, and the stars began to tremble in it's presence and swiftly shrink away.

"You're so close..., almost ...," A bright flash pierced into midnight, dissolving what was left of his desperate hold on this present time. The advent of his antithesis was upon them, longing and pleading for an abiding eventide that was not theirs to behold this day. "Go on..., I love you...,"

Light stretched out into the expanse of heaven and cast upon him another blitz of brilliant gold and orange, the ball of fire openly chased him now. The aurora cutting sharply through the last aching remnants of his gloaming, illuminating and undeniably overtaking him, leaving nothing but renewing light and excessive beauty in the wake of his full cry.
