We're celebrating all things VigBean at the fourth annual VigBean fic exchange and flash fiction roulette. Viggo and Sean give us decades of ideas to play with and tons of characters to try on. Their similarities and differences are intoxicating; their strength and compassion are beautiful.
wordsontongue is fun and flexible. You can write anything from drabbles to multi-chapter fics, RPS to FPS, and if the huge variety of styles and genres from the last three years are any indication there are no limits to where you can let your imagination take you.

Orlijah Month 2011 started late this year and commenced with Prompt 13 on the 13th of January.
Circumstances had dictated that we truncate the 'month' down to 18 days, which would take us to the 31st of Jan. Since then, we havebeen badgered unmercifully had a number of requests to complete prompts 1 to 12 in February.
We are more than happy to do this, but we need your help.

An Early Orlijah Month Public Service Announcement
Hello to all our Orlijah Month fans. We're now two months away from the traditional start of Orlijah Month, and we have important news to share about our annual January funfest. As the moderator of this community, I will be away on a work assignment until the second week of January and unable to launch Orlijah Month on New Year's Day as has been our norm. In addition, my access to the Internet will be very limited during the next two months so that the pre-Orlijah Month prompts that we had featured last year will probably not be able to take place.

It's hard to believe that the end of the month is literally around the corner. Which means there are only a few days remaining for the MOME Awards nomination period. But there's good news. Due to some technical problems I will have limited online access until after Labor Day. As a result, I've decided to extend the nomination period until the end of the day on Tuesday, September 7 (that's 11:59 p.m. eastern time). That's one more additional week to comb through your bookmarks, memories and favorites and nominate those stories you think are worthy of recognition!
Awards are presented to both new and classic stories based on story length and pairing for both RPS and FPS. The complete nomination guidelines provide specific requirements.
Check out themome_awards and help us recognize exceptional fiction across the fandom!

On March 5, 2010, after a lengthy battle with cancer, lunasv passed away at the age of 49.
Luna was a single mom to a teenaged daughter who was the center of her world. She was also a brilliant writer who wrote in several fandoms including Kindred, Sharpe, Bond, Lord of the Rings and Star Trek (2009).
Her earliest writings on Livejournal (February 2003) were Sean/Viggo, she wrote both RPS and FPS in the LOTR fandom, and she was still writing her LOTR pup Harry Sinclair in the Establishment and Citadel (roleplaying games)on Journalfen at the time of her death.
I've been given permission from the mods to post and let everyone know about an online memorial community that's been created for her:
